How to Cook Pork Pochero (Pocherong Baboy)


Pork Pochero a type of pork stew tomato – based Filipino dish. Pork is sautéed in garlic, onion, tomatoes and simmered in tomato paste/sauce along with bananas, potatoes, beans and petchay. Serve it while it's hot with freshly steamed rice.

INGREDIENTS

-sliced potatoes (about 4pcs medium size)
-sliced green beans
-sliced saba banana (about 4pcs)
-1tsp salt and ground black pepper
-chopped onions 3pcs
-chopped garlic 1head
-2 kilos pork chopped into chunky cubes
-1Tbsp salt and ground black pepper
-3/4cup tomato sauce
-boiling hot water
-oil for pan frying
