How to Cook Sinampalukang Paa ng Manok


SINAMPALUKANG PAA NG MANOK is a tamarind based Filipino dish soup. This dish is not just a budget meal but it is also a very healthy dish, as chicken feet are a good source of collagen, it has hyaluronic acid which moisturizes skin that helps prevent skin aging. Chicken feet have​ a very gelatinous texture. Make sure to boil it properly, else it will be chewy.
Serve it while it's hot with freshly steamed white rice.

Ingredients to boil chicken feet:
25g ginger
1tsp peppercorn​
1tsp coarse salt

Ingredients:
2 thumb-sized ginger
4 cloves garlic
1 medium-sized onion
1kg chicken feet (boiled)
2 & 1/2 tbsp fish sauce
1/2 tsp ground pepper
7 cups rice water
2 stalks lemon grass (optional)
20g tamarind leaves
200g fresh tamarind
35g tamarind flower buds
3 pcs green chili
